To speed up modeling, in addition to Launcher, Modeler has context-sensitive menus. The set of tools for such menus depends on what is selected in the scene. If objects are selected at the object level or nothing is selected, the object menu will open. If points are selected, the points menu will open, etc. Also, in "Volatile C-Plane Operation" mode ("/" key), the object menu opens even if the components are selected. This is done in order to conveniently create primitives based on the construction plane position and orientation. The menu can be launched with a hotkey (S by default) and with the mouse by pressing Shift+RMB.

You can adjust the menu opacity and size in the Settings window.

A powerful feature of context-sensitive menus is the ability to be fully customizable by the user. In addition to the Modeler tools, the user can add any Houdini shelf tool. Setting them up is very easy. There are 4 special tools on the Modeler shelf: Obj Menu, Point Menu, Edge Menu, and Face Menu. They are not designed to be run directly. If you try to run such a tool, Houdini will show an error message. These tools contain context-sensitive menus content.
