In addition to viewport-based interactive tools, Modeler includes a small set of tools for working with nodes in the network editor. These tools help manage nodes and streamline workflow. Here's a brief description:
- Activate Node — Selects the node closest to the mouse cursor. Using the tool again sets the node's display flag.
- Select Display — Selects the node that has the display flag enabled.
- Delete History — Deletes node history, saving the current geometry in a Stash SOP node.
- Snapshot — Saves the geometry into a Stash SOP node without deleting existing nodes.
- Merge Nodes — Merges selected nodes into a new Merge SOP node.
- Delete Groups — Deletes all groups.
- Delete Attribs — Removes all attributes except for the primitive attribute Cd.
- Null Node — Creates a Null node.
- Clean Tree — Deletes all nodes that are not part of the current branch.
Use tooltips for more detailed information on each tool.
