Material tools
- Material assigns new material to selected faces or objects
- GetMat assigns existing material from nodes list
- PickMat assigns existing material by picking face
- PickCopy same as PickMat but duplicates material before editing
- EditMat edits selected face or object material node
- ClearMat removes materials from selected faces or objects
Assigning at Object Level
At the object level, all material tools work with global node material.
Change Material Type
If you want to assign a different type of material, e. g. if you use RedShift renderer, then go to the Setup tab of the main toolbar and specify the type in the Material Node Type Name field.
