For convenience in Modeler, the most important model display settings in the viewport are gathered in a dedicated radial menu, Display Options (Alt+D). This menu contains tools for adjusting geometry display, isolating faces or objects, and display option presets.
Some menu items are presented as checkboxes, allowing you to immediately see whether a particular option is active when the menu is opened.

Hide Backdrops — Hides or shows Backdrop objects.
Ghost Display Nodes — Makes display geometry semi-transparent.
Isolate Faces — Displays only selected faces, hiding the others. If nothing is selected, it shows all geometry.
X-Ray Display Nodes — Displays display geometry on top of other objects or template geometry.
Hide Templates — Hides template nodes in the viewport.
Isolate Objects — Temporarily hides all objects except the active one.
Ghost Templates — Makes template geometry semi-transparent.
Visualize Vertex Count — Uses a viewport visualizer to color faces based on the number of points they have.
Lock Objects Mode — Prevents changes to shading mode at the object level, locking the current settings.
Lock Template Mode — Locks the shading mode for template nodes, preserving the current settings.
Default Preset — Adjusts display options so that the geometry appears normally.
Topo Preset — Displays both display geometry and template geometry in a way that is convenient for retopology. This preset is automatically activated when the Topo mode is enabled.
SubD Template Preset — Configures display options for subdivision modeling using a template node. Working in this mode involves subdividing the geometry in a separate branch but within the same container using Object Merge and Subdivide nodes.
